The reasons for the frequent damage of tuyere in No.3 blast furnace of Baotou Steel are analyzed, and measures such as reducing the alkali load, maintaining the upper limit of physical temperature, furnace temperature controlling mainly in physical temperature, lowering the coal ratio, and strengthening the foundation work are adopted to control the frequent damage of tuyere.
