La1-xCex(NiCoMnAl)5.05(x = 0, 0.25, 0.50, 0.75) series alloy is prepared by induction melting method; the PCT gaseous hydrogen absorption and desorption test is also carried out. The results show, with the increase of Ce substitution amount, the unit cell volume of alloy decreases gradually, and the axial ratio c/a increases gradually; with the increase of substitution amount, the discharge capacity of alloy decreases gradually, and its high rate discharge performance firstly increases and then decreases, and the discharge performance of alloy at x = 0.25 is the best; the cycle life of alloy is gradually improved with the increase of Ce substitution; with the increase of substitution amount, the maximum hydrogen absorption of alloy decreases gradually, but hydrogen desorption plateau pressure increases gradually.
