Objective

To explore the clinical efficacy of 3D thoracoscopic pulmonary nodule removal in the treatment of pulmonary nodules and to observe the complications of patients.

Methods

Seventy patients admitted to Zhaoqing Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine, Guangdong Province from March 2022 to February 2024 who underwent 3D thoracoscopic minimally invasive removal of pulmonary nodules were selected as the experimental group, and 70 patients who underwent traditional surgery during the same period were selected as the reference group. The surgical-related indicators, pulmonary function indicators, pain scores and complication occurrence of the two groups of patients were compared.

Results

The operative time, intraoperative blood loss, postoperative drainage volume and hospital stay of experimental group were all lower than those of the reference group (P=0.000). After intervention, the levels of FVC, FEV1 and PEF in experimental group were higher than those in reference group (P<0.05). The scores of test group at 2d, 5d and 7dVAS after surgery were significantly lower than those of the control group (P=0.000). The complication rate of experimental group was lower than that of control group (P=0.016).

Conclusion

3D thoracoscopic minimally invasive removal is effective in the treatment of pulmonary nodules, which can shorten the operation time and hospital stay, reduce intraoperative blood loss, improve lung function, relieve patients' pain and reduce complications, and is worthy of further promotion and application.
