Objective To analyze the microbiological testing results of hotels, bathing centers, and supermarkets. Methods According to the requirements of the Technical Specification for Public Place Hygiene Monitoring and the Public Place Hygiene Standard Monitoring and Inspection Method, a total of 2372 samples from three types of public places (hotels, bathing centers, supermarkets) were subjected to microbiological testing. Results After analyzing the microbiological testing results of air and public goods from 2021 to 2022, a total of 1124 samples were tested in 2021, of which 1110 were qualified, with a qualification rate of 98.75%; In 2022, a total of 1248 samples were tested, of which 1248 were qualified, with a qualification rate of 100.00%. The microbiological testing results of air and public goods in 2022 were higher than those in 2021 (x2 value=13.586, P<0.05). Conclusion The qualified rate of microbial testing in public places in Jiangyin City in 2022 has increased significantly compared to 2021. However, it is necessary to remain vigilant and strengthen hygiene management to ensure environmental hygiene and personnel health in public places.
