The anti-roll bar of automobile suspension is an important component of suspension system. Good lateral stabilizer bar can make the car with good handling, ride comfort. Firstly, the composition, classification and working principle of the transverse stabilizer bar are briefly summarized, and the different working conditions are introduced. Secondly, the paper summarizes the research status of the lateral stabilizer bar of automobile suspension by domestic and foreign scholars in this field, introduces the optimization design, fatigue life and active control, and briefly describes the control principle and characteristics of each control method. Finally, based on the current research status of the transverse stabilizer bar, the development trend is predicted.
