Camels are a distinctive and advantageous livestock species in the Altay region of Xinjiang. However, camel piroplasmosis diseases can cause significant harm to their growth, and strict prevention and control measures are necessary. Took the Altay region as an example, this paper deeply analyzed the pathogen, epidemic characteristics, clinical symptoms, pathological changes, and diagnostic key points of camel piroplasmosis, and proposed corresponding treatment methods and preventive measures, with the aim of providing scientific technical guidance and reference for the prevention and control of camel piroplasmosis in the Altay region.
