Based on analyzing the structure, features, main problems and their causes existing in the Talents Team of Science Popularization (TTSP) and exploring the history of its development, the author maintains that it is very important for China to develop the TTSP through training and education either in school or out of school. It is also the urgent need for both carrying out the national development strategy and fulfilling the substantial development of the society, and the fundamental and critical measure for the development of science popularization enterprise itself. He proposes that “the collaboration of school education and special training, the integration of policy encouragement and guidance, the unification of the whole development and the partial improvement in Talents training” be the principles of developing the TTSP. Therefore, it is necessary to well understand the current situation and make plans for educating and training TTSP in a systematic way. It is also imperative to practice Talents evaluation in the process of their training in order to meet the needs and requirements of TTSP in terms of quality and quantity.

How to promote the citizens' scientific literacy has become an important topic which is continuously thought by popularizers of science. Through running the science shops, the Xinhua Sub-district Office of Changning District in Shanghai tries to promote public scientific literacy and meet the science popularization needs of citizens.

In conformity with the definition of natural history museums, this article briefly introduces the development of natural history museums worldwide and the history and status quo of natural history museums in China. The author puts emphasis on the success of Chinese natural history museums in communicating natural history and propagandizing nature protection, analyzes the reasons behind and the experience there derives, and finally brings forward his own viewpoints on existing problems and the direction that natural history museums should follow.
American adults learn about science and health from numerous sources, including television. The Pew studies demonstrate that half of American adults watch a local television news show three times a week or more, making local television news most widely used news medium. This study examines the impact of a program to increase the use of science and health stories in local newscasts. The results show substantial story recall and information retention. The analysis suggests that science and health stories in local television newscasts may either enhance viewers'existing science/health schemas or foster the development of new schemas for less-well-known constructs.
