Management of the benefit of science and technology museums will strengthen the construction of museums, reinforce the development of infrastructure and promote national popular science capacity. Based on defining management the benefit of science and technology museums, this paper makes a data analysis on current situation, and then discusses causes of the problems. Finally, countermeasures are put forward.
The science and technology museums share science educational functions. This paper puts forward that the science and technology museums in China should renew their ideas of the popular science education. Meanwhile some strategies should be considered such as the integration resources, the positioning, the theme design and so on.
The science and technology museums serve the essential functions of communicating science and technology, and play an important role in the modern science communication system. In this paper, an analysis is given to the diversification of the science and technology museums, communication practices, communication forms and comparative advantages. The analysis shows that the communicating services of the science & technology museums cannot be replaced, with their ample contents, various forms, visual images, comprehensive exhibitions.
