During the 18th century, when enlightenment science became a cultural fashion in Europe, Linnaeus's sexual system and binomial nomenclature were established, which made botany easier to have access. From 1760s to 1830s, Linnaean botany was fashionable in Europe especially in England. With its feminine characteristics and under the influence of Rousseau, many women engaged in the learning, research and popularization of botany. They wrote a lot of popular botanical books, most of which were in the forms of letters and dialogues. Those women had different background; however, all of them faced difficulties because of their gender.
This paper aims to study the meanings of science popularization, raise the basic system of policies and regulations on science popularization, and clear some significant national policies and regulations. In addition, this paper does an informative analysis and research in terms of Chinese science popularization and its policies and regulations, which are based on a large number of questionnaire and data analysis. Finally, there are relevant countermeasures and suggestions to the development of Chinese science popularization policies brought up in this paper.

In this paper, 25 science communication awards in Britain and America are mentioned, giving us a general picture. Then it sums up several characteristics of the awards, and puts forward some deliberate ideas.
As the representative of new media, Microblog has been developing fast in recent years, which can break through the problems of time and interactivity in environmental science and technology communication, and reduce the input cost. Taking Dong Liangjie's microblog in Sina-Microblog as an example, analysis indicated that the microblog of environmental science and technology could become popular microblog, 6:00 am—10:00 am was the prime time for posting microblog, the high quality of microblog was from “original” on the website, with environmental debated issues, vivid and humorous language, convincing analysis, concise and comprehensive opinions and intensive sense of responsibility. However, there were several problems for environmental science and technology communication microblog, such as lacking effective supervision and specialty, and out of balance between “comment” and “transmit”. So, the scientists and professional institutes of environmental science and technology were encouraged to launch microblogs and participate in communication with internet users.
Scientific institutions open to public is of great significance to enrich popular resources, to promote the capacity of science communication and to enhance the originality of popular resources. In this paper, a questionnaire survey is conducted to collect the information of the understanding and participation status, and public interest and expectation as well. The analysis result shows that the primary mission. The recreational character of science popularization should be emphasized. No matter the interviewees' age, watching video and operating scientific instruments are the most interested subjects, while the daily life and social focus concerned scientific knowledge are the most interested contents. The questionnaire survey result is provided as the theory evidence of scientific institutions open to public.
