    Base on science popularization content, this paper discusses the necessity and criterion in the construction of quality control system of science popularization on the internet. Combined with the practice of the construction of China Digital Science and Technology Museum, the paper defines the content that constitutes quality control system of science popularization. Detailed criterions, quality concepts, control goals and practice methods are addressed with aspects of management mechanism and technology standards.

    The public openness of scientific research institutions benefits enhancing our science capability, also speeding up technology development. In recent years, Chinese Academy of Sciences uses its own resources to carry out the opening activities, such as “Public Science Day”. This article analysis the problems of these activities from aspects of policy, organizational operation, funding, evaluation and incentive and others, and makes certain proposed solutions to the problems.

    Experiential science is a kind of popular science activity which is re-experienced by the concept of experience. The main feature of experiential science is the perfect integration of self-perfect participation and the emotional rational knowledge of the audience. There are four dimensions of experiential science, including information, entertainment, sublimation, and the total sense. Experimental science behavioral is influenced by the behavior significantly. And the main mechanisms of experimental science are including consumer attribution, mental accounting, preference reversal, information waterfall, time preferences. We summarized the factors by the behavior model of science experience and give suggestions for future research.

    Museums categorized under the sort of science and technology in China embrace science and technology museums (science centers), natural history museums, planetaria, industrial (thematic) museums, engineering and technology museums, and some others. Over the past decade, Chinese science and technology museum has made great progress both in incremental construction and content construction. But due to the diversity of the sub-categories, multiple-governance system in management, mono-pattern in operation and the simplistic approach of exhibition services, there are many constraints and problems for such museums. To Clarify their status quo and ponder over those problems will defenitely contribute to the sustainability of the healthy development of the museums, as well as the better fulfillment and exertion of their function in popularizing science and technology.

    Nowadays, in the rapid development of construction of science and technology museums, it is becoming urgent for science and technology museums to enhance their ability of management and to improve exhibition design, education and service in order to meet the demands of people for better science popularization. Referring to the experience of enterprises and NGOs in using Knowledge Management (KM), this paper proposes that science and technology museum, such as China Science and Technology Museum (CSTM), should implement KM so as to fulfill their mission better. Taking CSTM as an example, this article discusses the current situation with the museum and the problems in its KM, analyses the necessity for CSTM to carry out KM, puts forward framework of KM system for CSTM, and explores the success and difficulty in the process of CSTM's application of KM.

    Parent-child activities of Science and Technology Museum are educational activities in nature. It is a kind of method to popularize science which aims at promoting the healthy development of children and improving the ability of parents in education. Relying on the exhibition and educational resources of the museum, under the certain conditions created thereby, the method facilitates museum educator-led children's activities by working with their parents. In this paper, I talk about the concept of parent-child activities in Science and Technology Museum, its educational value and the realization of the value in order to enlighten the educational practice in Science and Technology Museums.

    In this paper ten methods and means are proposed for the modification and improvement of the exhibits in scientific popularization halls and conclusions are drawn in four aspects as of fabrication, presentation form, moulding and design methods of science popularization exhibits. It is proposed that the exhibits should have “disposition of artwork” and “humanistic” design should be emphasized, and it is advocated that divergent thinking and reverse thinking method should be adopted in design and fabrication of the exhibits. Meanwhile, effective technical exchange and communication can make the exhibits bearing the same names “out of the ordinary”.

    During the construction period of harmonious society of human and nature, natural history museums have made a great deal of improvement with effective facilities, broadened their exhibition contents and developed creative exhibition concepts. Natural history museums, in their essence, are characterized by the exhibition theme of harmony between human and nature, which not only matches with present eco-environment engagement and our citizens' scientific quality construction, but also shows the succession and enlightenment of the splendid tradition of natural history museums. The new Zhejiang Museum of Natural History considers harmony of human and nature as the theme, shows knowledge of natural science as well as results of ecological protection from comprehensive and multiple angles, and aims to serve society and social development.

    Mr. Cai Yuanpei's (Tsai Yuan-Pei or Jolin Tsai) ideas of museum education are full of transcendent awareness in many aspects. In particular, his study and implementation of museum function in public and aesthetic education are still significant in regards to modern museum development. From the perspective of social psychology, we have systematically investigated into Cai Yuanpei's ideas of museum education, and based on that we have analyzed how to protect and advocate our national traditional culture, promote people's ever-growing socialization, reinforce cultivation of aesthetic emotion, and develop a deep level of educational content of museum feature. As a result, we hope to provide a better methodology for more advanced development of museum educational function, which in turn may facilitate our understanding about the social significance and educational function of a museum at a higher level.

    In modern times many people pursue China's modernization in tireless spirit through science and technology. From the mid of 19th century onward up to the present day, chinese people relay their hopes, dreams and vision generation after generation on science and technology!Although science is not omnipotent but overall scientific quest is an inevitable requirement and route for China's modernization especially important in contemporary China where technology and education reform strategy, information technology, innovation-oriented construction are vigorous driving forces for China's modernization construction.
