By means of document reviewing, this thesis focused on investigating the science news in Xiang Newspaper and intended to establish an organized methodology to systematically enhance the interestingness in science news based on the news structural factors like title, news-lead, main part and conclusion. This paper extracted and summarized some methods such as cliffhanger setting and rhetoric improvement in order to help the science journalism practices improve.
