This paper analyzes a great deal of problems regarding the exploration process in Life Science Galleries of China's science and technology museums, including its particularity, disadvantages of the conventional exhibition methods, innovation pressure they face, as well as the characteristics of virtual reality technology and necessity of applying VR technology to Life Science Exploration Gallery. The paper mainly focuses on how to apply VR technology to Life Science Exploration Galleries and the results and effects they have. A new thought and solution for building and presenting exhibitions in the Life Science Exploration Galleries in science and technology museums will come into shape.
