It is an important way for news media to collect and compile news articles with papers as clues and main content. On the basis of putting forward the concept of paper news, this paper mainly takes the paper news report of China Science Daily as an example, and analyzes and studies the current situation, significance, characteristics, clues, elements and bottlenecks of paper news by means of interview and case analysis. In addition, this paper also seeks to predict the future development of the paper news following the arrival of the era of artificial intelligence.
