Military science popularization is an important part of national science communication as a whole. One of the long-term national strategic aims is to vigorously develop science communication. The paper illustrates the significance of developing military science communication, as well as its overall thought, target, pathway and support measures from angles of bolstering scientific literacy for military servicemen, and boosting combat capacity of the army. The analytical results of the paper will provide reference and guidance for making a theoretical study of military science communication and for generating opinions for decision-makers of the competent departments.
