The clinical effects of the two groups were compared. The numbness degree of lower limbs, lumbar function, nerve conduction velocity, evoked somatosensory potential, inflammatory factors and quality of life of the two groups were observed before and after treatment. Compare the adverse reactions and recurrence rates at 3 and 6 months between two groups.Results: After 4 weeks of treatment, the effective rate of the traditional Chinese medicine group was 92.50% (37/40), which was significantly higher than the 72.50%(29/40) effective rate of the conventional group, and the difference was statistically significant (P < 0.05). After treatment, the acupuncture test, visual analog scale (VAS) for numbness, nylon rope test score, Oswestry dysfunction index (ODI), lumbar spinal potential, cauda equina potential, cortical potential, and serum levels of tumor necrosis factor - α (TNF - α), high - sensitivity C - reactive protein (hs CRP), and interleukin - 1β (IL - 1β) in the traditional Chinese medicine group were significantly reduced compared to the conventional group (P < 0.05, P <0.01). The Japanese Orthopaedic Association's back pain score (JOA) and the motor conduction velocity of the tibial and common peroneal nerves were significantly increased compared to the conventional group (P < 0.01). After treatment, the role function, physical function, social function, and material life scores of the traditional Chinese medicine group were significantly higher than those of the conventional group (P < 0.01). The recurrence rate of the traditional Chinese medicine group was 2.50% (1/40) after a 6 - month follow - up, which was significantly lower than the conventional group's 15.00% (6/40), and the difference was statistically significant (P <0.05).Conclusion: The modified Duhuo Jisheng Decoction has a significant effect in treating residual numbness of nerve roots after intervertebral foramen endoscopy. 治疗4周后，中药组有效率92.50% （37/40），相较于常规组有效率的72.50% （29/40）明显升高，差异有统计学意义（P <0.05）。治疗后，中药组麻木视觉模拟评分（VAS）、Oswestry功能障碍指数（ODI）、腰髓电位、马尾电位、皮层电位及血清肿瘤坏死因子- α（TNF - α）、高敏 - C反应蛋白（hs - CRP）、白细胞介素 - 1β（IL-
