Melasma accompanied by insomnia causes obvious troubles to patients' lives, and there is not any well therapeutic regimenat present. Xiao's school of Dermatology of traditional Chinese medicine in Fujian Medical School argues that the main pathogenesis of melasma accompanied by insomnia is the loss of spirit mechanism and the weakness of Qi activity. Its prescription to regulate the spirit of strengthening Qi, promoting blood and removing melasma as the theme, has accumulated certain experience in clinical.
