The clinical efficacy, traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) syndrome scores, pulmonary function indicators, immune function indicators, inflammatory indicators, and incidence of adverse reactions were compared between the two groups.Results: After 4 weeks of treatment, the total effective rate in the observation group was 91.53% (54/59), which was higher than that in the control group (72.88%, 43/59), and the difference was statistically significant (P < 0.01). After treatment, the TCM syndrome scores in the observation group were lower than those in the control group (P <0.01). After treatment, the MMEF, FEF50, and FEF75 in the observation group were higher than those in the control group (P <0.05), while the levels of IL - 4, IL - 6, TNF - α, and CRP were lower than those in the control group(P < 0.01). There was no statistically significant difference in the incidence of adverse events between the observation group and the control group (P > 0.05).Conclusion: Shuhua Guwei Decoction combined with bacterial lysates in the treatment of children with RRTI and lung - spleen qi deficiency pattern can significantly improve clinical efficacy, TCM syndromes, pulmonary function, and immune function,
