Serum immune indicators and inflammatory factor levels in nasal secretions were measured and compared between the two groups. Symptom improvement and clinical efficacy were evaluated, and adverse reactions were recorded.Results: After treatment, the total serum immunoglobulin (Ig) E and the ratio of helper T cells (Th) 17/regulatory T cells (Treg) in the treatment group were significantly lower than those in the control group (P < 0.05). The interleukin (IL) - 4 level in nasal secretions of the treatment group was significantly lower than that of the control group (P <0.05), while the IL - 10 level was significantly higher (P < 0.05). After treatment, the scores for nasal congestion, nasal itching, runny nose, and sneezing in the treatment group were significantly lower than those in the control group (P <0.05). The total effective rate in the treatment group was significantly higher than that in the control group (P < 0.01).
