Outline
In the process of converter steelmaking, a great deal of harmful smoke dust will be produced. After the treatment and recycle through the modern environmental protection dust removing equipment, the dust with small particle size and high iron content can be obtained. By adopting some technical measures, the dust ash briquetting which is suitable for converter is successfully developed. The field application of the steelmaking converter shows that the dust ash briquetting has good cooling and slagging effect, which can replace the iron ball, steel slag and iron ore, and realize the full comprehensive utilization of converter dust ash.
