355QK, 460QK are steel plates produced in wide plate production line of Baotou Steel and used in automotive axle housing for some large enterprise, and they are used in the rear axle of loading truck. Based on the study of color difference on the surface of axle housing steel plate, the pressure fluctuation in descaling process is analyzed by means of quality tools. The reasons causing color difference on the surface of axle housing steel plate are found, and improvement measures are put forward, having achieved a good effect.
