The protective shed at bottom floss hole of flue collector is one of the necessary safety technical measures in the construction of medium repair of converter. In this paper, such series of process as its functional orientation, design of structural style, modeling of wear-stress as well as analysis and checking calculation is discussed in detail. The purpose is to make its carrying capacity visual and quantitative as well as easy to be mastered for operators so as to create an example of standardized operations for the similar projects in future, which is of great significance for improving the operating efficiency of converter in medium repair and the level of safety protection.
