In the paper, the influence factors for sinter production of 265 m2 sintering machine in Iron-making Plant of Baotou Steel are analyzed. With the existing production line, such measures as increasing the utilization coefficient and reducing inefficient operations are proposed and implemented so that the sinter production is steadily increased from 4.81 million t in 2016 to 5.34 million t in 2017, which makes a contribution for improving the ratio of sinter put into furnace and reducing the production costs of iron making.
