This paper mainly introduces the current situation of rare earth protection management in Baiyunebo Iron Mine, and analyzes the function of video surveillance system. In this paper, video surveillance system is used as a tool to realize the transformation of management mode for rare earth resources through the integration of technology, management, rules and regulations. And the enormous social benefits that produced after the transformation of management mode is analyzed in detail.
