R260Mn steel is a kind of heavy rail steel grade which can be used in the production of high speed railway in European Railway Standard, the main technical indexes include:Rm≥880MPa, elongation≥10%, HB hardness range of tread center 260~300, Oxide cleanliness K3≤10. Through the laboratory research, smelting composition range, production technology process and operation points of each operation for R260Mn rail make technical indexes of R260Mn rail for industrial production to meet the contract requirements.
