In this paper, the component design requirements of line pipe BNS with acid service of Steel Tube Co. of Baotou Steel are introduced as well as the tensile property, impact property, microstructure and corrosion resistance of material are tested and analyzed. After normalizing treatment, the material is with good mechanical properties and corrosion resistance. The test results showed that designed BNS could completely meet the performance requirements of line pipe under the conditions of acidic service.
