In this paper, it is introduced the application and implementation of the technology of recycling high temperature flue gas of big flue for two 500 m2 sintering machines of Baotou Steel as well as the technical problems existing in production practice. The solutions are proposed by analyzing the production parameters and field conditions combining with the operations, which can be as references for maintaining other similar associated equipment. The waste heat recovery is realized and unit process energy consumption in sinter production is reduced while guaranteeing the production to be trouble－free.
