In this paper, the causes of oxidized burning loss for heating furnace of 4# production line of Long Product Plant of Baotou Steel are analyzed in detail. The improvement measures are proposed according to the working principle and characteristics of the heating furnace so that the oxidized burning loss and accumulation of iron scale in the furnace are effectively reduced, production efficiency is improved and some economic benefits are obtained.
