Outline
The electrolytic cell is the key equipment in electrolytic aluminium industry. Its cradle pot shell consists of two end side plates, two long side plates and a base plate. There are two types of end-side plate, circular arc and flat plate types and there are a large number of parts welded on it. The welding quantity of end-side plate is large and it is easy to be deformed, so the control of welding deformation is the key point and difficulty in the process of installing and welding it. In this paper, the manufacturing technology of flat-plate type end-side plate for electrolytic cell is mainly introduced.
