A large number of technological breakthrough and process optimization researches on quality control of bloom SWRH82B of Baotou Steel have been carried out. In this paper, it is introduced the control level for inclusions of casting blank is improved as well as the amount, shape and size of inclusions in bloom are effectively controlled and improved through studying and optimizing the key technologies of controlling inclusions for converter, external refining and continuous casting process in steel making.
