In this paper, several selection methods for consistency of metal hydride-nickel battery were studied and they are applied for selecting batteries in actual productions. The results showed that the expected goals could be achieved so that the selected batteries were guaranteed to be with good consistency, which could meet the use requirements of high-end series and banked battery. As a result, the consistency of battery and product quality are improved as well as the hidden troubles of safety and after sale are eliminated effectively.
