In the paper, the dedecting and analysis on fixed flash welding joints of U71MnG high speed rail are introduced. The welding joints of different wave heights by ultrasonic testing are compared and analyzed as well as their causes are analyzed, which provides the basis for adjusting welding process so that the quality of welding joints is improved.
