The stepping billet shifer for feeding and blanking of NK flaw detector is improved on the basis of various traditional billet shifers and its own characteristics are formed using their advantages for reference. In this paper, it is briefly introduced its structure, working process and advantages, sketched the schematic block diagram for its motion principle as well as verified and analyzed its main parts so that the rationality of using it is verified.
