In this paper, it is introduced the general situations of hot tight covering treatment technology for steel slag of Baotou Steel, analyzed the technical problems in the production practices of Baotou Steel as well as provided the solutions to such problems as large-area hardening of steel slag, spray explosion of hot tight covering and short service life of hot tight covering device.
