The lift pumping station is the common solution to collect field backwater in modern industry. When the water level of pump station is high, the sewage pump is started for drainage and when the water level is low, the sewage pump is shut down, so the control system is required to be highly reliable. In this paper, it is proposed to collect the liquid level with double liquid level meter, analyze and judge the changes of liquid level for liquid level meter through PLC to determine the running status of liquid level meter and remind maintenance personnel to dispose in time. The practices prove that the reliability is so high that full automatic operation could be realized completely.
