The market of special pipe for gas cylinder is broader and broader, the Φ232.0 mm × 5.5 mm gas cylinder cannot be rolled with the original Φ238 mm pass of 180 work zone. In order to expand the market as early as possible, the Φ242 mm series of pass for tandem mill is developed based on the parameters of pass for existing tandem mill and distribution method of top coefficient of elongation as well as the original Φ230.3 mm mandril is applied so that the production of Φ232.0 mm × 5.5 mm gas cylinder is realized. It is put into service and received a favorable reception of customer.
