The prospecting area in Baritu copper polymetallic ore is located between the metallogenic belts in the middle and north section as well as in the southern section of Da hinggan ling metallogenic region. The metallogenic characteristics of this prospecting area are analyzed by comparing with the two metallogenic belts in the north and south. It is considered that the mineralization is mainly related to the strata of Duobao mountains of the Lower-Middle Ordovician, the acidic and alkali granite in the early Yanshan period as well as is quite different from the geological characteristics of the metallogenic belts in the south and north of Da hinggan ling area. Meanwhile, the metallogenic potential of the prospecting area is analyzed and several prospecting targets are determined.
