In this article, the corrosion reasons of water supply pipeline are analyzed in detail from such aspects as its corrosion mechanism, corrosion types, materials of pipeline and buried environment. Moreover, some countermeasures for corrosion prevention of water supply pipeline are put forward combining with the working practices so that the safe operations of water supply pipeline could be better guaranteed.
