In this paper, the main revision content and explanations are elaborated in detail by the research work practice of revising the basic and programmatic technical standard for detection of coking products-General Rules for Detection Methods of Coking Products. Moreover, the current situation and future trend change for development of coking are discussed and analyzed to make the whole industry understand the revised standard correctly and use it normatively to boost the healthy and stable development of coking industry.
