In this paper, the pass design of HW175 mm × 175 mm hot rolled H-beam is taken as an example to introduce the HW175 mm × 175 mm hot-rolled H-beam produced by X-H rolling method on the UEU reversible continuous rolling mill, the pass design method of finished rolling mill, the pass system selection and pass design method for break-down mill, selection of billet cross-section, as well as the pass design characteristics of producing HW175 mm × 175 mm hot-rolled H-beam by using special-shaped billet.
