In the paper, it is discussed the existing problems and the corresponding measures in bidding and purchasing management of Baotou Steel based on the knowledge of the quality control of bidding management and the knowledge of economics and management principles involved in bidding and purchasing. Strengthen the management of bidding and purchasing from the aspects of perfecting the organization structure and the system, standardizing the business operation, strengthening the supervision and management, in order to ensure the economic benefit and the management benefit.
