Outline
Low temperature semi coke is a solid carbonaceous fuel of high volatile bituminous coal by pyrolysis obtained, with high fixed carbon, low ash, low sulfur, low volatile. The experimental research of blast furnace injection of low temperature semi coke shows that the explosion and grindability can meet the production requirements, and the combustion rate is better than that of the present mixed pulverized coal. If the low temperature semi coke can be used in the field of blast furnace smelting, it can relieve the pressure of anthracite resource and widen the range of injection coal source selection.
