Outline
After ignition of No.8 blast furnace in Baotou Steel, add air volume smoothly, keep good pace, achieve a rapid reinforcement, and create the achievement of reaching the target production in 4 days after blow-in. In this paper, operation experience on blow-in and reaching the target production of No.8 blast furnace in Baotou Steel is summarized through increasing equipment reliability, making reasonable blow-in control parameters, optimizing the blow-in scheme, preparing carefully before blow-in and optimization in blast furnace operation.
