Objective To improve the determination of free silica content in dust by pyrophosphoric acid heated by silicon carbide in order to ensure the accuracy of detection. Methods Analyze the influencing factors and controls during the experimental process, including the determination of dust sample composition, sample processing, preparation of pyrophosphate, control of heating temperature, hot filtration, ashing and weighing. Results By controlling and improving the influencing factors during the experimental process, measurement errors can be effectively avoided. Conclusion The importance of determining the characteristics of dust samples during the measurement process lies not only in the preparation of pyrophosphate and strict temperature control, but also in the accuracy of data analysis for quality control sample analysis.

0 引言

粉尘中的游离二氧化硅会引起以肺部弥漫性纤维化为主的全身性疾病,称为矽肺。工作场所粉尘的职业接触限值制定的主要依据即为粉尘中游离${\mathrm{{SiO}}}_{2}$的含量^[1]。工作场所中游离二氧化硅含量大于${10}\%$的粉尘称为矽尘^[2]。矿业、制造业等企业的粉尘需要检测游离二氧化硅含量^[3]。焦磷酸法、红外分光光度法、$\mathrm{X}$射线法是测定粉尘中游离${\mathrm{{SiO}}}_{2}$含量的常用方法。焦磷酸法因其所用仪器设备简单从而被广泛应用。其他两种方法因仪器价格较为昂贵不易推广使用。但焦磷酸法影响测定结果的因素较多, 操作繁琐费时, 若缺少严格的质量控制方法, 结果易造成误差。GBZ/T 192.4-2007^[4]方法原理: 粉尘中的硅酸盐及金属氧化物能溶于加热到${245}\sim {250}^{\circ }\mathrm{C}$的焦磷酸中,游离二氧化硅几乎不溶, 而实现分离。然后称量分离出的游离二氧化硅, 计算其在粉尘中的百分含量。2022 年 8 月江苏省疾控中心组织职业卫生四项能力验证, 其中包含游离二氧化硅粉尘样品, 考核样品编号游硅 -104-H,此次考核结果合格。本实验对实验过程中的主要影响因素及方法改进进行探讨, 对含煤尘样品直接采用高脚石英烧杯称量代替恒重的瓷坩埚, 无需转移锥形瓶, 焦磷酸法测定粉尘中游离${\mathrm{{SiO}}}_{2}$,提供检测的准确度。

1 材料与方法

1.1 仪器

电热恒温干燥箱 GDX-9070ME,上海博讯仪器公司；干燥器,内盛变色硅胶。万分之一电子天平 ES1055B,感量为${0.1}\mathrm{{mg}}$ 。高温石英烧杯 (可耐高温${1200}^{\circ }\mathrm{C}$ ),${50}\mathrm{\;{mL}}$ 。碳化硅智能恒温加热板 SD34-1,天津拓至明实验仪器设备有限公司,控制精度$\pm {0.1}^{\circ }\mathrm{C}$ 。箱式电阻炉$\mathrm{{SX}}2 -{12}- {10}$ ,杭州仪器设备公司。瓷坩埚或铂坩埚,${25}\mathrm{\;{mL}}$ ,带盖。烧杯,${250}\mathrm{\;{mL}},{1000}\mathrm{\;{mL}}$ 。玛瑙研钵。慢速定量滤纸。玻璃漏斗及 6 孔分液漏斗架。温度计,$0 \sim {360}^{\circ }\mathrm{C}$ .

1.2 试剂

85% 的磷酸、硝酸铵:均为分析纯,盐酸:优级纯,均来自国药集团化学试剂有限公司。

1.3 方法

1.3.1 焦磷酸制备

将 85% 的磷酸${500}\mathrm{\;{mL}}$倒入${1000}\mathrm{\;{mL}}$烧杯中加数粒玻璃珠 (以防暴沸) 置于碳化硅恒温加热板上,加热到${245}\sim {250}^{\circ }\mathrm{C}$直到不冒泡为止,自然冷却后贮于试剂瓶中备用。在焦磷酸制备过程中需要严格控制温度${245}\sim {250}^{\circ }\mathrm{C}$之间,超过${250}^{\circ }\mathrm{C}$使焦磷酸形成难以过滤的偏磷酸^[5],影响准确性。

1.3.2 粉尘样品的处理

(1)粉尘样品成分判定和处理:样品成分不同,处理方法也不同。若粉尘样品含有煤、其他碳素及有机物, 用恒重的高温石英烧杯直接称样品后,于高温电炉${800}\sim {900}^{\circ }\mathrm{C}$灰化${30}\mathrm{\;{min}}$, 冷却后再加焦磷酸(标准中采用恒重的瓷坩埚称量后灰化,冷却后再加焦磷酸加热溶解, 最后还要转移至锥形瓶, 这一步若转移不完全,会影响测定结果准确性)。若含有硫化矿物 (如黄铁矿、黄铜矿、辉铜矿等),应加数毫克结晶硝酸铵于锥形瓶中。再按照加焦磷酸及数毫克硝酸铵加热处理。

(2)样品研磨:方法规定需将采集来的粉尘样品先置于${\left({105}\pm 3\right)}^{\circ }\mathrm{C}$烘箱内干燥$2\mathrm{\;h}$稍冷却后放入干燥器中备用。对于不同成分的粉尘有相应的处理方法, 如果判断有误也会导致错误的结果。当粉尘粒子较大时, 需用玛瑙研钵研磨至手捻有滑感无颗粒为止^[6]。我们实验室一般采用 200 目分样筛进行过筛。如果是采集的是玻璃碎块, 在不锈钢方盘上盖上几张白纸, 连同塑料袋中玻璃渣放在白纸上, 再盖上几张白纸, 用铁锥小心锥碎、锥细后倒入到玛瑙研钵, 再研磨, 穿戴防护用品, 口罩、防护目镜, 手套, 袖套, 防止玻璃渣飞溅, 再过 200 目分样筛进行过筛, 制好后放置收集瓶中, 样品制备完成。

(3)样品溶解:方法要求溶解样品选用${50}\mathrm{\;{mL}}$锥形烧杯, 根据平时工作经验的积累,不如${50}\mathrm{\;{mL}}$高温石英烧杯合适,可以直接加热减少转移误差。称取试样 0.1~0.15 g 置于${50}\mathrm{\;{mL}}$高温石英烧杯中,加入${20}\mathrm{\;{mL}}$焦磷酸^[7]。将混合物于碳化硅恒温加热板上加热至${250}^{\circ }\mathrm{C}$,保持温度${245}\sim {250}^{\circ }\mathrm{C}$下${15}\mathrm{\;{min}}$,其间不断搅拌。温度过低或过高都会影响实验结果的准确性。在加热前对碳化硅恒温加热板加热控温测试。测试按照控温表掌握加热时间。见表 1。

(4)玻璃棒制作。${50}\mathrm{\;{mL}}$高温石英烧杯中用玻璃棒边加热边搅拌。加 1 根长玻璃棒从中部截成两段放上就可,在一段端处用橡胶管套牢。戴上防护用品, 防烫手套、防护目镜, 每个高温石英烧杯放 1 个。不断搅拌。本实验仅用 1 支温度计固定测定无样品的焦磷酸${20}\mathrm{\;{mL}}$,水银温度计不接触杯底,伸入液面下测定焦磷酸的温度。其他样品加焦磷酸${20}\mathrm{\;{mL}}$各放 1 根玻璃棒就行, 不用放温度计。仅观察 1 支水银温度计就可以。避免用水银温度计绑上玻璃棒再搅拌^[8],增加操作繁琐也累人,会导致实验人员操作不慎温度计破裂造成事故,实验失败需要重做。

(5)趁热过滤取下高温石英烧杯,在室温下冷却至${40}\sim {50}^{\circ }\mathrm{C}$, 在冷却过程中, 可以先准备好漏斗, 支好 6 孔分液漏斗架, 在 6 孔中正好放置 6 只漏斗 (本实验使用${75}\mathrm{\;{mL}}$漏斗选用直径${12.5}\mathrm{\;{cm}}$的滤纸)。再加${50}\sim {80}^{\circ }\mathrm{C}$的蒸馏水至${40}\sim {45}\mathrm{\;{mL}}$,此时一定要缓缓加入, 防止暴沸; 且注意用玻璃棒搅拌均匀, 否则溶液中形成胶状物又将难以过滤^[9]。石英烧杯内容物和洗玻璃棒的蒸馏水洗液合并入${250}\mathrm{\;{mL}}$烧杯中,此时烧杯内容物若少于${150}\mathrm{\;{mL}}$,适当再加蒸馏水,煮沸内容物,稍静置,准备趁热过滤。先用洁净干燥的手将滤纸整齐地两次对折, 滤纸放入漏斗按住滤纸, 挤水湿润排除气泡形成水柱。过滤时滤液不超过滤纸的$2/3$处,防止过高成损失,使得检测结果偏小。

(6)沉淀洗涤用盐酸洗涤沉淀时,可用滴管盘旋自上而下洗涤。应在前一次洗涤液完全过滤后,再进行下一次洗涤。洗涤液要充分浸润所有沉淀。最后用热蒸馏水洗至无酸性反应为止。由于操作时间较长,要求实验人员耐心细致。如用铂坩埚时, 要洗至无磷酸根反应为止。

(7)灰化称重。国标中规定,过滤完成后,将滤纸折叠放入恒重的瓷坩埚内, 在电炉上干燥碳化, 然后在高温电炉中${800}\sim {900}^{\circ }\mathrm{C}$灰化,室温下稍冷,然后放入干燥器中冷却$1\mathrm{\;h}$,称量至恒重。万分之一的分析天平必须按计量部门的规定进行检定,天平内应洁净无尘并放置硅胶干燥去湿。坩埚恒重过程中, 尽量保持天平室的气象条件(气压、温度、湿度)恒定。恒重过程中, 必须确保坩埚所接触的器皿 (烤箱、方盘、干燥器、马弗炉等)洁净, 所有恒重步骤必须戴干净手套操作。称量坩埚前, 分析天平必须准确调节到零点。称量几次后, 观察分析天平是否能回到零点坩埚恒重时间会对结果造成比较大的影响, 2 次的冷却时间等条件应一致,且 2 次的称量差应$<{0.3}\mathrm{{mg}}$。
