Giulio Albano is a public economist and journalist, currently completing a PhD in Economics and Finance at University of Bari Aldo Moro. His research focuses on territorial inequality, public service provision, and the socioeconomic impacts of large transport infrastructures, with particular attention to high-speed rail. He applies causal inference, spatial analysis, and bibliometric methods to the study of regional development dynamics. He has presented his work in international conferences, including the 12th World Congress on High-Speed Rail in Beijing.
