At present, Intelligent and Connected Vehicle (ICV) has become the strategic direction of the development of China’s automobile industry. The development of ICVs can provide new momentum and the best carrier for the innovation and development of Artificial Intelligence (AI). At the same time, AI innovation and development can also drive the development of ICV industry. Through deep excavation, analysis of AI and ICV technology literatures, based on AI driven ICV development status, from the AI innovation driven ICV industry development path, this paper proposes to build 4 system platforms for ICVs based on AI and vigorously erect development paths for CPU of ICVs and key components for ICVs. Aim of the research is to promote the development of ICV industry well, so as to effectively solve the issues of traffic accidents, urban road congestion, fossil energy consumption and air pollution faced by human society, and realize the transformation and upgrading of the automobile industry and the establish a new ecology of ICV industry.
