High voltage relay as a protective switching device is one of the important devices for electric vehicles, to better evaluate its application condition and reliability becomes particularly important. Based on the application scenario requirements and the technical status of high voltage relay in the current multi-in-one integration trend of pure electric passenger vehicles, the technical requirements of high voltage relay should be studied. Through actual investigation and research, literature collection and application case analysis, the application conditions of high voltage relay are summarized and analyzed in detail. On the basis of the existing technical requirements of high voltage relay, In this paper, it is proposed that the contact state of high voltage relay should be evaluated in depth, and some suggestions are provided for the application of high voltage relay for pure electric passenger vehicles.
