The American TV series The Big Bang Theory was one of that and obtained great social responding by communicating and popularizing the science through entertainment. The operating mechanism and features of The Big Bang Theory are analyzed. The current status of China is also discussed. Furthermore, the method of science popularization through the integration of science and entertainment is pondered.
The television is at present the main channel for citizens having access to scientific information. This paper focuses on the new approaches and the development process. The science TV programs should be strengthened more interaction and fun, so that the science knowledge, scientific methods and scientific ideas could be conveyed in a easy way.
Famous nature history museums all have long history, however, with the development of the society, public expecting museums not just cabinets full of specimen, they are inclined to have more deep interactions with those specimen. No matter the innovation for one area or for all, those famous museums indeed have already been on action. During this process, they have good command of the relationship between tradition and modern, generality and individuality, display and interaction, public and collection.
Museum exhibition is developed by the innovation and application of new technology. It's maybe a wonderful try for the museum exhibition by using information technology. In this paper, it shows wireless information transmission technology was being used to display Nanhui East-wetland scene of Shanghai in SSTM. A brand-new feeling was brought to visitors, on the other hand, it was magnified the time and space of museum. Application of new technology is sparking the exhibition of traditional museum to a new domain.
Pandora by Zhang Xiaofeng is the earliest science fiction in Taiwan. By the tragedy of the “artificial woman” Pandora, the novel expresses criticism of the theory of science omnipotence in four aspects: firstly, to describe the feelings of the three victims of technology and cross-examine the meaning of life; secondly, to use the theory of Christianity as a critical weapon; thirdly, to repose homesickness in Chinese images; lastly, by symbols, hints, dreams, subconsciousness and environment foils to express a kind of century mood to strengthen the tragedy.
As one of the excellent original popular science books in recent years, Yin Chuanhong's book Fantasy: A Wonderful Journey to Explore the Unknown World shows several notable writing features, which may give some references to China's original popular science writings.
