Latest ArticlesBased on predecessors’ work and deep understanding about the definition and characteristics of the digital museum, it brings up a model of the 21st digital museum. Meanwhile, according to the information technology, the digital museum is divided into three main types with different science communication methods and target visitors.
At the present time, the existing state of misconception, neglecting, forbiddance and vigilance in the realm of propagation of science and technology is surprisingly insufficient to reach its ideal, known as the historic, moral, and academic responsibilities. It is extremely difficult to quest the truth in this field. However, like an old Chinese saying, “truth is only concealed in the pure honesty”. Therefore, an honest attitude would help us to achieve the truth and solve the problems. And we expect that our honest introspection would reveal to the current society, which is preferable faking some facts, some truths, some verities, some realities, some sincerities and some franknesses.
As the predecessor of the China Association for Science and Technology, the National Association of Popularization of Science and Technology (1950-1958) occupies an important position in the history of popular science in contemporary China. There is important theoretical and practical significance for today’s innovation of China’s scientific work and building an innovation-oriented country to research its historical development, as well as the characteristics and experience of popular science work.
