Doubt, criticism and opposition to science restrict and hinder science communication in society. Not only do they challenge scientific epistemology and methodology in the academic world, but also reject science spirit, science culture and its social value in the public sphere. Based on investigating the conflicts between social and cultural trends of restricting and hindering the spread of science and science communication, an analytical framework of reference will be provided in order to guard against the negative effects of these trends.
