Thanks to the fact that the creation of Liu Cixin’s science fiction has been becoming better and approaching perfection day by day, a fantastic science fiction world has been constructed through his works. 2018 April Fool’ s Day just like a piece of “jigsaw puzzle” tries to explore Liu Cixin’ s inner universe. The plot in the novel is more like a writer’ s prediction of human being than an April Fool’s joke. Hidden behind the GMPLT (Gene Modification Prolong Life Techniques), IT Republic and other science fiction elements is the social reality background, which is not largely different from the present world. In the reality where the individual spirit is slowly melting, one has no choice but to pin their hopes on the future and another virtual internet world.
